Being an avid fan of novels that feature fictional space characters, science fiction has always been one of my favorite genres. Ever since I was about ten years old, I have had an interest in science fiction movies and novels. Some of my favorites over the years have included sci-fi classics like “ET” and “Wars of the World.” Both of these films included a storyline regarding alien life on earth, and also alien life on other distant planets. One of the things that has always intrigued me about these type of movies, is that they often featured a lot of special effects and computer animation technology. While the technology used to create films like “Wars of the World” was considered advanced for its time, the technology that was later used in movies like “ET” featured a higher level of computer animation. Based on the previous success of sci-fi films, there is expected to be a large number of movie releases launched in 2012 and 2013.
